I loved Lady Bird and Everything, Everywhere- and they're both movies I really cherish, for both of their similarities and differences. Your article made me think that it's important to watch movies, read books, etc. not only to try to relate to the characters, but also to see and hear new perspectives. So Lady Bird should have never been marketed as a movie everyone could relate to, but still a movie that everyone should see because a lot of people do relate. Very good read, thank you!
