I had no idea where to start since the Intro to Film class was only available Fall semester and I was joining this program in the Winter semester. I reached out to some professors in the film department and explained that I was switching pretty suddenly while halfway through my 3rd year and I had no idea what classes to take. Plus, I was currently still abroad, so I couldn’t even meet with them in person. I was lucky enough to make contact with a professor in the program who’d oversee most of the classes/projects. I’ve been asked this question a lot while in the program and I still don’t know how to answer. At the time, I settled for what I’d most been watching over the past summer. “Mostly Bojack Horseman, and, uh…do you know Bo Burnham?”
“Yes, of course!” he said. “I’ve watched all his stuff, as far back as it goes. Love him! You’re talking about Inside?”
